The Man Behind the Mentality
Benjamin Phillips III doesn't believe in choosing one lane. As a Business Program Manager in Big Tech, driving strategy on one of the world's most iconic gaming franchises, he operates at the intersection of tech, business, and elite performance. But his path to Big Tech wasn't conventional. He wasn't at a target school, didn't have any connections, and had to hear 58 rejections before the first offer came.
Benjamin is a former international professional basketball and volleyball player who was a part of the Philippines' Gold Medal "Redeem Team" at the 2023 Southeast Asian Games and captained the De La Salle Green Archers to a national championship. He was the country's first doctoral (DBA) dual-sport student-athlete. He earned his MBA from De La Salle University, one of the top business schools in the Philippines, after completing his BS at the Farmer School of Business at Miami University (OH).
He authored the internationally published book Lone Wolf Mentality, a raw, unfiltered look at what it takes to bet on yourself when no one else will, and a guide in the transition from high school to college and beyond.
Today, from his base in Seattle, Benjamin coaches current and former athletes, founders, and high-performers who are ready to stop playing it safe and start leading like their career depends on it... because it does.
My Philosophy
I coach the way I competed with intensity, preparation, and zero tolerance for excuses. My clients don't come to me for motivation. They come because they're already driven and they need a strategic partner who understands what it takes to perform at the highest level, in the boardroom, as well as on and off the court.
